NEW PUBLICATION: Results of PROFACTOR’s first experiments in TINKER
Minnette Flaig and Sebastian Zambal from PROFACTOR GmbH gave a successful presentation of their work within the TINKER project on the 2021 International Conference on Metrology for Industry 4.0.
Following the conference, the results of their first TINKER experiments were published with the title: “Deep learning for zero-defect inkjet-printing of electronics”. The article presents a vision system for automatic calculation of inkjet printed electronic structures, which reaches an intersection over union (IoU) of 82%. According to the authors, these results show the potential for future zero-defect additive manufacturing in electronics industry.
