BESI Austria participated at the European Platform on Smart Systems Integration (EPoSS) in Villach, Austria

Besi Austria GmbH was part of the European Platform on Smart Systems Integration (EPoSS) Annual Forum 2023, which was held in Villach, Austria from July 4 to July 7, 2023. The EPoSS Association is a European network of organizations that are active in the field of smart systems integration. The theme of the forum was “From ideas to next generation Smart Systems” and it aimed to foster the exchange of ideas and best practices among the stakeholders of the smart systems community.

The forum featured several sessions covering topics such as smart systems for health, mobility, energy, and industry, as well as cross-cutting issues such as digitalization, sustainability, and education. The forum also offered networking opportunities and site visits to some of the leading research and innovation facilities in Villach, such as Silicon Austria Labs (SAL) and Infineon Technologies Austria AG.

One of the highlights of the forum was the poster session, where Birgit Brandstätter from BESI presented a poster with the title “Feedback-enhanced pick-and-place technologies as foundation for novel manufacturing processes in automotive sensor packages”. The poster showcased some of the recent results of our TINKER project.

We would like to thank EPoSS Association, Silicon Austria Labs (SAL), Silicon Alps Cluster, and all the participants for making this event a success. We are looking forward to continuing our collaboration and contributing to the advancement of smart systems integration in Europe.
